1. Position: Truck & forklift driver.

The Department of Human Resources would like to inform its estimated staff and the Public of opportunities for the position of Truck & forklift driver.

Any person qualified according to the criteria defined below can apply. SBL employees with the ambition to apply are equally welcome.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a Rwandan driving license category C, E & F.
  • Have at least 2 years of professional experience in driving trucks & special machines like forklift.
  • Able to understand instructions.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Be in a good physical & health condition.
  • Must be able to speak & understand French or English.
  • Must have a team spirit, working independently & integrity.

Main responsibilities

  • Deliver goods while operating a truck, sometimes over district routes or several rural areas.
  • Load and unload finish goods/empties with forklift.
  • Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
  • Drive long distances.
  • Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
  • Inspect the truck before and after the trip, and record any defects found.
  • Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
  • Keep a log of daily activities.
  • Keep the truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
  • Get goods to client on time.
  • Maintain logs of each trip and submit log trip sheet to the line manager.

2. Position: Packaging Forklift Driver.

SKOL BREWERY LIMITED

The Department of Human Resources would like to inform its estimated staff and the Public of opportunities for the position of Packaging Forklift Driver.

Any person qualified according to the criteria defined below can apply. SBL employees with the ambition to apply are equally welcome.

Job requirements:

  • Hold a Rwandan driving license category F
  • Practical skills to drive forklift.
  • Have at least 2 years of professional experience in driving special machines like forklift.
  • Good work organization
  • Able to work and communicate with others.
  • Adherence to health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to learn new skills for further development.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Machine maintenance
    • Clean, Lubricate, and make necessary adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment.
    • Report malfunctions to a supervisor.
  • Cleaning:
    • Ensure Machine cleanliness.
  • Control
    • To have fuel as per flit and fixed assets timetable
    • Speed control to avoid any kind of losses.
  • SHE
    • Practice required safety measures to avoid accidents.
    • Follow and fill all packaging machine check lists and other standard operating procedures.
