JOB SUMMARY
The Jobholder is responsible for executing the distribution of SBL products and executing Trade Marketing concepts, plans, processes, and strategies to reach its business goals by helping SBL to optimize its Direct Store Delivery volume in the (high end) Hotels and restaurants in Kigali, ensuring maximum product availability at the point of purchase (POP/POS), and fostering product availability, visibility, and consumer engagement at POP/POS.
KEY COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic knowledge of the Beer market and environment.
- Basics of commercial, marketing and merchandising.
- Have good communication and negotiation skills.
- Have a university degree in business administration or related field.
- Wiling to work late night hours.
- Have Rwandan driving license category B.
- Proficiency in English and / or French.
- Computer literacy.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Have a team spirit.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Monitor the Point of sales in assigned channel with the commercial execution KPI’s (Visibility, NND, and PICOS rate).
- Ensure the effective execution of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) within their designated channel.
- Facilitate and support the flow from ordering to payment.
- Coordinate promotional initiatives and tailored point-of-sale (POP) support: Prepare, secure, and ensure the success of promotions at the point of sale by establishing collaborative partnerships, strategically positioning non-permanent promotional materials, and creating traffic to selected POS.
- Develop a sales development plan per POS to increase our market share through activations and promotions.
- Encourage the key players in the channel to create a Join Business Plan (JBP) and push for the implementation of decisions taken.
