Job Title: Project Manager (Fintech / Mobile Money)

Location: Kigali, Rwanda (Hybrid)

Salary Range: 750,000 RWF – 1,965,000 RWF (Depending on Experience)

Our flagship application, Faranga, enhances mobile money transactions, making digital financial services more accessible, secure, and user-friendly.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Project Manager to oversee the development and continuous improvement of our innovative mobile money application. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, timelines are met, and our product goals remain user-focused and aligned with the company’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for our evolving fintech application.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
  • Implement Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to streamline the development process.
  • Track project progress using tools like JIRA, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Identify project risks, resolve issues, and manage scope changes effectively.
  • Communicate progress updates, roadblocks, and strategic insights to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must-have: Demonstrated experience applying Agile project management methodologies.
  • Plus: Experience in fintech or a related industry (mobile money, digital financial services).
  • Big Plus: Hands-on experience with JIRA for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast-growing, dynamic setting.

Work Environment & Culture:

This is a hybrid role based in Kigali, offering flexibility to work from home. You will, however, be expected to attend in-person meetings periodically. We are a forward-thinking, growth-oriented team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
